Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships 2027/2028

The Commonwealth Master’s Scholarships are offered by the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission in the UK (CSC) for candidates from low and middle-income Commonwealth countries to undertake full-time taught Master’s study at a UK university. These scholarships are funded by the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) and aim to contribute to the UK’s international development aims and wider overseas interests, support the research and innovation capacity of developing countries, and promote excellence in UK higher education.

Applicants must be citizens of or be granted refugee status by an eligible Commonwealth country, or be a British Protected Person. Must be permanently resident in an eligible Commonwealth country. Must hold a first degree of at least upper second class (2:1) honours standard, or a second class degree and a relevant postgraduate qualification.
