About the Opportunity
The Southern African-German Journalists’ Programme is a multiyear effort to foster a deeper understanding between Germany and Africa as a whole. It has been offered in response to concerns about an increasing political and cultural detachment between Africa and Europe. The program provides journalists with the opportunity to work in Germany, gain international experience, and build professional networks.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be journalists from Southern African countries. Proficiency in English is required, and knowledge of German is an asset.
Official Application
Submissions are directed straight to the verified IJP (Internationale Journalisten-Programme) application portal.
