John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships 2027-2028

The John S. Knight Journalism Fellowships at Stanford University believe that the people closest to journalism's hardest problems are the ones best placed to help solve them. The program aims to strengthen journalism, deepen trust within communities, and build more resilient news organizations. Fellows spend an academic year at Stanford, engaging with the university's resources and a cohort of peers to work on projects that address critical issues in the field.

Journalists with a minimum of seven years of full-time professional experience. Applicants must be interested in solving journalism's hardest problems and strengthening trust in communities.
