YALI 2027 Mandela Washington Fellowship

The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is a prestigious program that brings approximately 550 young leaders to the United States for an intensive executive-style program. The fellowship aims to build skills and empower young African leaders through academic coursework, leadership training, and networking opportunities. Participants engage with U.S. citizens and other fellows to foster professional development and cross-cultural exchange.

Open to young African leaders between the ages of 25 and 35, who are citizens and residents of sub-Saharan African countries, and who have a proven record of leadership and accomplishment in public service, business, or civic engagement.
