Veterinarian

Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat livestock illnesses and injuries. Develop and implement herd health programmes, including vaccinations and parasite control. Oversee reproductive health, breeding management and pregnancy diagnosis. Advise on nutrition, animal welfare and biosecurity. Monitor herd performance and maintain accurate treatment and health records. Train farm staff in animal handling, disease prevention and recognising signs of illness. Manage veterinary medicines, supplies and equipment. Travel between farms within Southern Malawi and respond to livestock emergencies.
